Fiji (Fiji: Viti, Fiji Hindi:), officially the Republic of Fiji, an island in the Melanesia in the South Pacific, which extends about 1,100 nautical miles and to (2,000 km, 1,300 miles) to the northeast of the island North in New Zealand. Located next to the Vanuatu island of Fiji to the west, and New Caledonia to the southwest, New Zealand's Kermadec Islands to the southeast and to the east of Tonga, Samoa and Wallis and Futuna to the north-east France, and Tuvalu to the north.

The largest sources of international visitors by country are Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Fiji has a large number of soft coral reefs, and can enjoy diving as an activity tourist joint.
